3M named Matthew J. Ginter treasurer and VP, investor relations, effective July 1. He will report to Nicholas C. Gangestad, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
“Matt is an exceptional leader whose financial market experience, strategic thinking skills and knowledge of the company qualify him well to lead our treasury and investor relations organizations,” said Nicholas C. Gangestad, SVP and CFO.
A 25-year 3M employee, Ginter most recently served as VP, investor relations. Previously, he was director, financial planning and analysis.
Ginter succeeds Scott D. Krohn, who is leaving to become treasurer at Verizon. “We thank Scott for his leadership and contributions to the company and our finance organization during his time with 3M,” Gangestad said.
