US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker presented PakSense with the President’s “E” Award for Exports at a ceremony in Washington, DC. The President’s “E” Award is the highest recognition any US entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports.
“PakSense has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The “E” Awards Committee was very impressed with PakSense’s export sales into more than 75 countries. The Company’s innovative product development to ensure safety of perishable shipments was also particularly notable. PakSense’s achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the US economy and create American jobs,” said Pritzker.
PakSense manufactures and markets temperature monitoring products that help ensure only the freshest and safest products reach consumers. These solutions monitor the temperature of perishable products such as food and pharmaceuticals throughout the entire supply chain.
“Exporting continues to be a fundamental element of our sales growth, and we are honored to receive the ‘E’ Award,” said David Oster, PakSense CEO. “We first began exporting in 2007. Since then PakSense has achieved strong export sales growth, accounting for an average of 25% of annual sales, enabling us to sustain jobs and even expand our work force.”
In 2015, US exports totaled $2.23 trillion, accounting for nearly 13% of US GDP.
