Impinj, Inc. announced that Goetz Pfeifferling has joined Impinj as senior director of business development, based in Europe.
Pfeifferling recently served as managing director of Lemmi Vertriebsgesellschaft, mbH & Co., one of the oldest apparel brands in Germany. He was responsible for wholesale channel, logistics and marketing, as well as sales and distribution of Lemmi products to more than 35 countries across four continents, including Germany, Russia, Australia and the USA. During his time at Lemmi, Goetz also led the buying organization, managing logistics and imports from 11 countries, including China, Pakistan, Columbia, Peru, Turkey and Bangladesh. He also held positions in product marketing and quality control. He holds a degree in economics from the Universität Kassel.
“We’re very excited to have Goetz join the Impinj team,” said Larry Arnstein, Impinj’s vice president of business development. “Goetz was instrumental in Lemmi’s adoption of RFID across its entire supply chain. As an early adopter of the technology, he was generous with his time to the RFID community. We expect and encourage Goetz to continue to contribute to the RFID community in his new role.”
“I welcome Goetz to Impinj,” said Paul Garner-Evans, senior sales director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India). “His arrival enhances our current footprint across the region, which is already a rapidly developing market for Impinj. Goetz brings an added dimension that will help accelerate adoption and create opportunity for the Impinj ecosystem.”
