New 75 micron (3 mil) crystal clear PET thin film solution enables multiple flexible printed electronic applications.

Eastman Kodak Company has announced an optically-clear KODAK ESTARHeat Stabilized (HS) Film that is 75 microns (3 mil) thin, a unique feature for transparent films whose properties include high light transmittance, very low shrinkage and low haze even after high temperature exposure.
Kodak ESTAR HS films were developed for printed electronics, flexible circuitry, optical display, membrane switch and related industries, where extremely stable characteristics and roll-to-roll consistency are requirements of the application.

The new 3 mil Kodak ESTAR HS Film was developed in response to market requests demanding thinner material with superior stability and optical qualities.

Kodak Estar HS Films are now available in 3, 4, 5 and 7 mil thicknesses.
