The RFID technology has entered the printing world in a while. Standard products like labels, baggage tags etc. are upgraded to collaborate with contactless readers.

At Print 09, Mühlbauer exhibits its proven RFID inlay insertion line IL 15000. This solution is a highly flexible insertion system, suitable to upgrade existing standard labels into modern self-adhesive RFID labels. Even multilayer labels (sandwich labels) are processable.

The IL 15000 is capable to handle labels with all frequencies, HF and UHF, as well as single or multi row application. An integrable testing unit with marking station cares for highest output quality.

Its high speed of up to 60 meters per minute combined with the clever machine structure for fast product change-over, easy operation and maintenance brings the IL 15000 in the position to reach the best cost/performance ratio.

Mühlbauer’s IL 15000 is also available as a fully equipped RFID baggage tag line, ready to enter the raising markets in the aviation and logistics sector. With this optional module the machine is able to perform all process steps from punching over slitting to perforation fully automatically.
