ASYS Group Acquires Botest Systems and Botest Printed Sensors GmbH

The ASYS Group has acquired Botest Systems and Botest Printed Sensors GmbH effective Oct. 1, 2009.
Botest Systems GmbH is active in the field of developing and manufacturing test systems for high-tech industries, especially for organic electronics applications. Botest Printed Sensors GmbH specializes in the research and development of printed organic semi-conductors.
By integrating Botest into its Group, ASYS complements its technology portfolio.
“By integrating Botest Systems and Botest Printed Sensors GmbH into the ASYS Group we can increase our range of products also with regard to future requirements. For us it is important to support our customers in their core processes and focus on state-of-the-art technologies”, says Werner Kreibl, CEO of the ASYS Group.
New product developments will be released earliest in 2010. Botest will stay independent and will offer its existing products and services to the market.
