The Advanced Materials Business Unit of SCHOTT announces the appointment of Dr. Heather Rayle as vice president/general manager for North America.

Dr. Rayle holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Penn State University, a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from UCLA, and an MBA from Lehigh University

Dr. Rayle held various positions with Rohm and Haas (now a subsidiary of Dow Chemical) in R&D, technology management, marketing management and general management. Her last prior position was business director, optical and ceramic technologies.
