The Mühlbauer Group, proven technology partner for the smart card, ePassport and RFID industries, announces the launch of its new SCP 800, a revolutionary concept in the sector of card personalization: Strictly cost-efficient and modular design, latest technology, maximum operator and service friendliness and perfect quality.
SCP 800 is a result of years of intensive technical and software development efforts. The first modules form a suitable solution for credit and EMV card personalization. SCP 800 has been developed with the maxim to highest cost efficiency. The design is simple and strictly cost driven, but nevertheless provides best accessibility and stability.
The core is Mühlbauer’s proven matrix embossing unit with indent print and tipping station. In addition, SCP 800/EMV includes units for contact and/or contactless chip encoding as well as magstripe encoding (ISO HiCo, LoCo).
The main innovations affect the software setup. SCP 800/EMV can be controlled and managed by an optionally available unique wireless operator panel, which provides the operator with a previously unknown free space. Along with this panel, the new designed graphical user interface with a consistent look and feel for an intuitive handling and servicing of the machine is included.
Easy job configuration, main user interface with all important information at a glance, different modes for operation, administration and service, adaptable menus and messages as well as online support upon request are the key features of this new software interface.
With a throughput of up to 800 UPH, SCP 800/EMV ideally meets the requirements of mid range personalization or is also suitable as backup system for high volume personalization centers.
