Applied Nanotech Holdings, Inc. will be presenting its latest advancements in metallic inks and pastes for solar and other printed electronics applications at the annual IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA and Photovoltaics USA in Santa Clara, CA from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2010. Both shows will be held simultaneously at the same location. Applied Nanotech will be located in booth 74 and will exhibit printed samples of its aluminum, nickel, copper, and silver inks and pastes.

Applied Nanotech has also been invited to present a seminar on the use of its latest ink and paste technologies for applications in solar cell manufacturing. These same proprietary inks were also the subject of the recent Phase III commercialization grant in the amount of $1.6 million from the U.S. Department of Energy. This presentation will be part of a special Master Class session titled “Thin Film Photovoltaics: Principles, Technologies, Markets,” being held in the morning session, Number 2 on Nov. 30, 2010.

Additionally, Applied Nanotech will be presenting two technical posters during the poster sessions; one will focus on Applied Nanotech’s aluminum paste and non-contact printable ink technologies, and the other will focus on Applied Nanotech’s non-contact printable nickel and copper ink technologies (IDTechEx Technical Development Award 2009 and R&D100 Award 2010) for photovoltaic applications.

“The combination of Printed Electronics USA and Photovoltaics USA in one location creates an ideal venue for Applied Nanotech to showcase the expansion of its ink portfolio to include products specifically targeted to printed solar cell manufacturing applications,” says Dr. Samuel Kim, vice president of business development. “We see a tremendous potential for our inks to be used for higher efficiency and lower cost solar cells, and are excited to exhibit our products to leading companies in the printed electronics and photovoltaics industries.”
