Texas Instruments Names Bing Xie VP, Deputy Manager of Worldwide Sales and Marketing

Texas Instruments (TI) announced Bing Xie’s election as vice president of the company. As vice president and deputy manager of worldwide sales and marketing, Xie will play an integral role in driving key initiatives to improve TI’s global sales execution around the globe.

“Bing’s sales experience in both Asia and the Americas combined with his strong customer relationships and proven track record in building cohesive teams will benefit our worldwide sales organization,” said John Szczsponik, senior vice president and manager, worldwide sales and marketing. “He has been responsible for growing TI’s presence in China and will bring an invaluable amount of knowledge to his new role in the U.S. and to our key regions.”

Xie joined TI in 1999 as the sales manager for North China. He has since worked in both North America and China in various sales roles, most recently serving as president for Texas Instruments operations in China since 2007 and general manager in Greater China region since 2011.

Xie earned a bachelor of science degree in electronics engineering from Xidian University in China and earned a master’s in international business administration from Clemson University in South Carolina.
