Creative Materials has introduced 125-17, a screen-printable, solvent-resistant, flexible UV curable coating, a blue dielectric that is used as a protective insulating layer as well as a crossover layer for polymer thick-film conductive inks in printed circuit applications. The coating is compatible with a range of substrates, including polycarbonate, polyester, polyimide, glass, and ITO-sputtered surfaces. The printed void-free coating is resistant to humidity, temperature fluctuations, and solvents. It is designed for use with a variety of CMI conductive silver and carbon inks.
Some applications of 125-17 include membrane switches, flex circuits, touch screen applications and other printed circuitry.
Creative Materials, of Tyngsboro, MA, USA, manufactures electrically conductive inks, coatings and adhesives, and develops and markets specialty chemical products worldwide. ISO 9001-certified, Creative Materials’ product line includes more than 1,000 products.
