For the third consecutive year, Plextronics, Inc. was named to the Pittsburgh Business Times’ Pittsburgh 100 list of the fastest growing private companies in the region. Plextronics ranked as the fourth fastest-growing manufacturing company and the 12th fastest-growing company in the region based on revenue increases between 2007 and 2009 that topped 171 percent.
As it has expanded, Plextronics has continued to hire professionals from all over the world. Interestingly, more than 30 percent of the company’s employees have relocated to Pittsburgh specifically to work for Plextronics, with recent hires relocating to the city from San Francisco and San Jose, CA, as well as Greenwood, SC.
