LOPE-C 2012 (the Large-area, Organic and Printed Electronics Convention), hosted by OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) in conjunction with Messe München International, saw a wide range of new technologies, and honored some of the most intriguing innovations during its annual gala dinner.
The LOPE-C Investor Forum Award 2012 was presented to Imprint Energy, Inc. for Most Impactful Technology/Product, while Eight19 Ltd. received the Best Business Case Award.
With an eye on these innovative ideas, the OE-A also presented a series of awards honoring multifunctional demonstrators, which were created for the conference, which can be seen at the Demo Center in the LOPE-C booth.
The OE-A honored the following recipients for their Multifunctional Demonstrators Based on Organic and Printed Electronics:
• Best University Demonstrator: Hochschule der Medien – Digital White Board.
• Best Freestyle Demonstrator: Merck Ltd., Nakatsu, Japan – Inkjet Printed Graphene Biosensor.
• Best Publicly Funded Project Demonstrator: 3Plast – Pedestrian Protection Sensing System.
• Best Design: University College West-Flanders – Electroactive Polymer Applications.
