PolyIC will present a touch demonstrator for automotive control elements at LOPE-C 2013, which will be held June 12-13 in the International Congress Center (ICM), Munich, Germany. PolyIC will also showcase new application samples of the transparent conductive PolyTC films and demonstrates how printed electronics can be integrated into packaging.
PolyIC is a gold sponsor again this year, and presents innovations and applications for various products, especially from the automotive and white goods sector.
The Centerstack Air demonstrator is a novelty. This demonstrator shows the use of PolyTC touch sensor film for control elements in the centerstack in automotive applications. As the name Centerstack Air suggests, the demonstrator contains two ventilation elements, which are controlled by the demonstrator's touch wheel. The predecessor of this demonstrator was already introduced with success at the Fakuma Exhibition in October 2012. It was produced in cooperation with PolyIC's parent company, Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG, and with other partners such as Roth Werkzeugbau, KraussMaffei and Incoe.
Another novelty are the roll-to-roll produced transparent and conductive PolyTC sample films, which will be presented at th
e LOPE-C for the first time. These PolyTC samples show current applications in the fields of touch technology, EMI shielding and transparent heating.
