PDC Healthcare announced that it has extended and combined its contracts with Amerinet, a leading national healthcare solutions organization. The agreement, which will be effective through June 30, 2016, will provide Amerinet’s more than 2,900 acute care members access to PDC Healthcare’s premier line of patient ID wristbands, labels, medical records supplies, imaging supplies and other healthcare products that prevent medical errors and improve patient safety.
The contract is formatted into two tier structures: Tier one customers will receive discounted pricing on PDC Healthcare’s full line of wristbands, labels, and medical records, filing and imaging supplies. Tier two customers will receive even greater discounts when they meet purchase requirements of PDC Healthcare’s wristband and label products as part of the company’s ValuePlus Standardization Service.
“Through our partnership with Amerinet, PDC Healthcare is pleased to continue offering our high-quality patient ID products to contracted healthcare facilities at the best available prices,” said Tracey Carpentier, president of PDC Healthcare. “Amerinet and PDC Healthcare’s relationship helps hospitals to streamline operations, improve clinical outcomes, improve the safety and care of patients and enhance the overall patient experience.”
PDC Healthcare products are used throughout every major hospital function to help organizations prevent medical errors to increase patient safety and financial performance, while maintaining compliance with important patient safety regulations. These include The Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Stage 2 Meaningful Use Requirements, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for patient identification.
