Avery Dennison RBIS, a global leader in apparel industry branding, labeling, packaging, embellishments and RFID solutions, and Ningbo Shenzhou Knitting Co., Ltd. (Shenzhou), the largest vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer in China, announced a joint venture.
This partnership, a first of its kind in apparel manufacturing, will facilitate heat transfer innovations in order to better serve leading global brands. The joint venture will be located at the Shenzhou manufacturing campus and serve as Shenzhou’s preferred supplier for garment embellishments and labels.
Embellishments such as heat transfers are particularly important to performance wear companies, who expect increased design flexibility and consumer comfort without compromising garment function. The Avery Dennison RBIS - Shenzhou joint venture will provide customers with decorative transfers, printed and woven labels, graphic tags and tickets and sustainable packaging that enhance product presentation and in turn, can help to increase the consumer’s intent to purchase.
