Impinj, Inc. announced Walter X. Palhetas has joined the company as SVP of global sales. Palhetas brings nearly two decades of senior management experience in helping high-growth companies scale and transform sales. At Impinj, Palhetas leads the sales team, spanning OEM and solutions-focused channels, to support and create new demand with partners for the Impinj platform.
Palhetas most recently held the role of EVP of sales and worldwide marketing and sales operations at Nexsan Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Imation, Inc.), where he led all revenue generation through the channel community, strategic accounts and OEM partnerships worldwide. In this role, he garnered highly strategic OEM partnerships, including a key relationship with Cisco, and was able to accelerate revenue growth, improve productivity and create demand to triple the size of the sales and systems engineering teams.
