Confidex is now introducing the upcoming modular, industrial grade Confidex Viking beacon family as part of its industrial wireless technology offering, Links. Confidex Viking beacons, based on Nordic Semiconductor nRF52-series Bluetooth Low Energy chipset, are designed for industrial asset tracking, indoor and outdoor locating as well as sensor telemetry. The beacons can be used to monitor conditions, such as temperature, and send location data over distances of hundreds of yards in real time. The large-scale and wide area Mesh Connectivity for the new beacon family is enabled by Wirepas.
