Japan Display Inc. (JDI) will be participating in the China International Auto Products Expo (CIAPE), to be held from Oct. 15th, 2018 in Shanghai China, displaying the future of automotive displays.
With the increase in the number of automobiles throughout the world, in association with the number of displays increasing in each car, the market for automotive displays is forecasted to experience an unprecedented rate of growth. Further, these automotive displays will need to have various capabilities, functions, designs, etc., in shapes, lines, slim, high resolution, low power consumption etc.
At CIAPE, in order to handle the various demands placed by the market, JDI is planning on exhibiting cockpits displaying future automotive display concepts, such as landscape displays for clusters, utilizing LTPS (low temperature poly silicone), a core technology of JDI, as well as a display with in cell touch sensors for CID, and displays for electric rear mirrors. JDI will continue to propose universal solutions for highly functional and reliable automotive displays, to respond to the diverse future demands of cars.
