Checkpoint Systems earned the GOOD DESIGN distinction from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design for 2018.
GOOD DESIGN is the oldest design awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. GOOD DESIGN covers inventive consumer products, graphics and packaging designed and manufactured in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.
Checkpoint offers an intelligent retail solutions portfolio of hardware, software, sensors and IoT connected devices for loss prevention and inventory control system for retail environments, designed to improve retailers’ profitability and the consumer’s experience. “The collaboration with Radius Design on our NEO antennas produced a revolutionary design that is both aesthetically pleasing and technologically advanced,” said Simon Edgar, global director, R&D, for Checkpoint. “Innovations beyond aesthetics include EAS industry-leading 9-ft. [2.7m] RF and RFID electronic performance, wireless inter-antenna communication, integrated ad panels and IoT connectivity to our HALO platform.”
