Toppan Printing is presenting its latest solutions and technologies for secure documents at SDW 2019 from June 11-13 at ExCeL in London.
Toppan will be showcasing for the first time the IN-signia graphic antenna, an inlay for the polycarbonate data pages of passports. IN-signia allows attractive design visible through a window in the page to be added to the inlay to enhance both anti-counterfeit security and visual recognition. Toppan will also present its new NFC certificate, a technology whereby a secure chip embedded in a certificate or diploma can be read by an NFC-enabled smartphone to verify the document’s authenticity.
Other solutions on show will include eCovers, smart end-paper, and Crystagram PC, a hologram for polycarbonate cards that is difficult to imitate and offers greater durability, consistent brightness after lamination, and excellent design. Combination with Toppan’s security ink for authentication enables even higher level anti-counterfeit performance.
“Toppan is very excited to be presenting its latest solutions at SDW during Identity Week,” said Yoshiyuki Mizuguchi, GM of Security Solutions at Toppan. “We offer governments and official bodies the security they require to fight counterfeiting and enhance the integrity of secure documents and the processes to which they are essential.”
