IDS will release its updated low cost, aerosol-based desktop printer at the NextFlex Innovation Day 2019 workshop in Santa Jose, CA. on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019.
The desktop printer is the first affordable aerosol-based print platform available for research and low volume production applications in the printed electronics space.
The desktop printer includes IDS’ highly reliable NanoJet printing technology integrated into a fully functional desktop printer. The printer includes industrial standard g-code-driven motion control, a process vision system, print process controls and simplified tool path generation.
The g-code-driven platform provides end-users flexibility in using toolpath generators end-users are already familiar with or the toolpath generator available with the desktop printer. The NanoJet print head includes easily replaceable ink cartridges and aerosol focusing assemblies to simplify material change over for research or production processes. The transition from development to production is available using multiple print head solutions.
