ON Semiconductor will demonstrate its range of intelligent image sensing solutions at Vision China 2020.
Exhibits will include a global shutter image sensor for high-resolution inspection, an X-Cube reference design for industrial camera design, and artificial intelligence (AI) demonstrator for machine vision using the AR1335 image sensor, A 4K resolution super high dynamic range (HDR) sensor for machine vision will also be featured alongside the AR0234 digital image sensor with global shutter for scanner and intelligent transportation system (ITS).
ON Semiconductor will demonstrate the excellent imaging sensitivity and versatility of a 45 megapixel (MP) running at up to 60 frames per second (fps) in 8K video mode while providing state of the art image quality in a 12-bit mode image sensor for high-resolution inspection for smart factory applications.
The X-Cube reference design based on the X-class image sensor family provides 16 MP resolution in a 1.1-inch optical format to supply the imaging detail and performance needed for a 29 mm x 29 mm industrial camera footprint for machine vision and ITS. The reference design is a complete system solution incorporating a C-mount lens holder, FPGA conversation from HiSPi to MIPI output, and interface to Demo3 and DevWare ecosystem.
An innovative AI demonstrator for machine vision using the AR1335 sensor in a system that is trained to recognize and classify the quality and condition of fresh and rotted fruits will show-case how to develop and integrate AI into systems and products for machine vision.
ON Semiconductor will also demonstrate solutions for outdoor applications. A 4K resolution sensor with up to 4-exposure HDR-on-chip is ideal for ultra-high-definition image capture in high-end surveillance systems.
The XGS family includes ITS optimized products with resolutions ranging from 3 MP up to 12 MP to support traffic management under the most demanding conditions. The AR0234 captures high quality, accurate and fast-moving scenes with a 2 MP global shutter at 120 fps to provide clear, low noise images in both low−light and bright scenes for ITS and scanner applications.
