On Oct. 6, 2022, Canatu was invited to General Motors’ Switch Symposium in Detroit. At the event, Canatu presented its multi-award winning 3D touch technology.
General Motors executives got first-hand experience in Canatu’s latest demonstrators featuring Canatu 3D touch in different automotive interior applications. This tech event was attended by more than 100 visitors to hear the latest in cutting-edge switch technologies.
Samuli Kohonen, VP sales, and Sam DiVergilio, US sales director, showcased Canatu’s award winning 3D touch technology at General Motors Switch Symposium.
Canatu 3D touch sensors shape surfaces into experiences, enabling design freedom and intuitive user experience. Canatu develops and manufactures 3D formable and flexible transparent conductive films and touch sensors for automotive OEMs and Tier companies.
Canatu’s transparent conductive films have extraordinary versatile mechanical properties with extreme stretchability (>200%). With less than 1mm bending radius, the Canatu CNT film can be formed to exaggerated 3D shapes, and in-molded for robustness.
• Stretchable (>200%)
• Formable (<1mm radius)
• Moldable (robust)
Canatu’s unique technology enables touch functionality on any surface. Canatu touch sensors can be discreetly integrated into the automotive interiors offering sleek and unobtrusive design. Canatu touch sensors are ideal for applications that require 3D form factor, high transparency (illumination), combined with high electrical conductivity.
Key applications of Canatu 3D touch include steering wheels, overhead consoles and door controls.
In addition, Canatu’s breakthrough solutions will be showcased at CES 2023 from Jan. 5-8, 2023 in Las Vegas in LVCC’s West Hall, booth 4271.
