Tageos launched its EOS-460 U9 RAIN RFID inlays specifically designed for market-leading performance in inventory control applications for tires and other rubberized items. The new products fully comply with ARC RFID Lab specification T, hence meet the requirements defined for the tire industry.
Today, EOS-460 U9 inlays stand out from all other ‘spec T’ products available on the market since they have the narrowest X pitch of all inlays compliant with that specification while maintaining the required sensitivity in 90/270-degree orientation. Their X pitch (antenna “length”) is 75mm, unlike the next smallest size of 80 mm, so the dimensions of the EOS-460 U9 are particularly advantageous for highly efficient converting processes.
On top of that, the inlays are suitable for both tire trade companies and manufacturing industries, including automotive and aviation, due to their overall reliable performance on rubber surfaces and a wide range of high-dielectric materials.
They feature NXP UCODE 9 ICs, which enable long read distance and fast inventory tracking of dense RFID tag populations. This high-performance chip also features 96-bit EPC, kill password, permalock, self-adjusting impedance, and memory integrity safeguards.
"With our new EOS-460 U9 RAIN RFID inlays, Tageos has once again proven that we are able to respond quickly and exceptionally well to customer and market demands across a wide range of segments, and to develop market-leading products that meet specific requirements better than the competition,” said Chris Reese, CTO at Tageos.
EOS-460 U9 inlays are available in dry, wet, and paper-face formats, with the dry format being the most convenient for tire tagging applications.
