    As one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturing companies, Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Company Ltd., better known as Foxconn, is a leading contract manufacturer.  With annual sales estimated at more than $128 billion in 2014, Foxconn is well known for an OEM manufacturer, with the iPhone, Xbox and many more electronics leaders being produced at its factories.
     
    When Foxconn makes a move toward a new technology, the electronics industry takes notice. This is certainly the case with the joint venture Foxconn announced with Cima NanoTech to produce SANTE® ProTouch modules, cost-competitive, projected capacitive (pro-cap) systems for large format touch screens. The two companies will sell SANTE ProTouch modules through the new JV.
