Chris Barton joined Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH as director, sales, the company announced.
Barton has more than 30 years of experience selling customized capital equipment solutions to customers all over the world.
Before joining Coatema he worked for more than 20 years at other well-known suppliers of coating and laminating machines in several sales management roles and before that, in sales of customized textile manufacturing equipment and plastics processing machinery.
In his new role at Coatema, Barton will lead the inside and field sales teams.
“Coatema is clearly a global leader in the supply of cutting edge, customized coating, laminating and printing solutions into high tech markets," he said. "Our specialized team of engineers and scientists, our strong market focus and our strong commitment to R&D have created a strong position in the market and I am confident that we have the capability to expand this further."
