Pröll KG Highlights New Products at LOPEC 2019

03.20.19

Will show Hybrid PS Screen Printing Stencil, NORIPHAN XMR and NORIPHAN HTR N 990 NC.

Pröll KG will show new products at LOPEC 2019, including the Hybrid PS Screen Printing Stencil, NORIPHAN XMR and NORIPHAN HTR N 990 NC - non-conductive black for IMD/FIM technology.

The Hybrid PS Screen is a high-tech screenprinting stencil, developed for industrial applications. The stencil shows excellent detail reproduction and the highest print accuracy. The hexagonal mesh design leads to homogenous ink or paste transfer. Due to the excellent printing resolution of the stencil, line structures of > 30 µm can be realized. Due to virtually distortion-free printing, accurate multi-layer sequences for the manufacture of complex microelectronic devices can be produced. Pröll Services GmbH Hildesheim is a leading supplier of technical screen printing screens.

NORIPHAN XMR is a halogen-free two-component ink system for IMD/FIM technology. NORIPHAN XMR is formable, shows extremely high wash-out resistance, outstanding cohesion in the compound and long-term durability in the final part. The mild screen printing ink can be used as decorating ink or wash-out protective layer on PC films and PET films.

NORIPHAN XMR shows high electrical resistance in capacitive fields. The black color shades can be used for back printing of conductive pastes in functional IMD/FIM parts due to its non-conductivity.

The highly resistant screenprinting ink can be used for conventional printing applications as well. NORIPHAN XMR shows excellent adhesion on PC films, PC blend films, pre-treated PET films and corona treated PE and PP films. Even on various scratch resistant surfaces or hard coat lacquers and TPU materials, a good ink adhesion can be achieved.

NORIPHAN HTR N is a formable, backmoldable and solvent-based one-component screenprinting ink for film insert molding technology. Due to the development of the new opaque black color shade NORIPHAN HTR N 990 NC, a carbon-free, non-conductive black is available for printed electronic applications now.

The color shade can be used for decorative prints but is mainly used for plane multi-layer printing or backing of metallic and polymer conductive pastes. Carbon-based pigments, so-called carbon blacks, normally used for black color shades, are electrically conductive and can interfere with the functional structures. The NORIPHAN HTR N 990 NC color shade has been formulated and optimized regarding the interlayer adhesion and shows good adhesion in compound values in the final film/ink/injection material composition.
