Vizinex RFID has released a case study outlining its work with Permasteelisa, a global contractor.
The case study, available here, details how Vizinex worked with Permasteelisa, which engineers, manufactures and installs architectural envelopes–building exteriors and the interior systems that support them, to create a radio frequency identification tag that worked reliably on the all-metal-and-glass curtain walls of Permasteelisa North America’s multimillion-dollar project in Manhattan, New York.
“After searching for five months and trying countless varieties of tags and technologies, Permasteelisa was down to the wire and almost out of time to implement RFID at all,” said Dr. Robert Oberle, co-founder and CTO of Vizinex. “Permasteelisa came to us looking for a very specific tag, in a large quantity at the right price and after creating a customized solution, we were able to deliver exactly what Permasteelisa had in mind.”
