TactoTek and German trim part supplier Novem announced the signing of a license agreement. As a TactoTek licensee, Novem will be able to build innovative and smart 3D surfaces with enhanced functionality and inspire the automotive market with differentiated IMSE-based solutions.
"Novem places great value on developing high-end products with innovative technologies to deliver exceptional customer experiences,” said Markus Wittmann, VP of program management, R&D, and design at Novem. “Using IMSE technology in the design of vehicle interiors allows us to integrate light and function into surfaces made of wood, fabrics, or high-quality plastics, making them interactive. We have a long-standing partnership with TactoTek, within which we have already worked together on various projects. The licensing agreement is a next step and strengthens our collaboration."
