Zebra Technologies announced it has been certified by Great Place to Work for the second year in a row. The prestigious honor is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Zebra.
This year, 86% of employees said it’s a great place to work – 29 points higher than the average U.S. company. Zebra’s highest scoring areas on the survey include offering a physically safe place to work; fair treatment regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender; and the ability to take time off from work when it’s necessary.
“Working at Zebra means making everyday life better for our customers, their employees and those they serve,” said Jeff Schmitz, chief people officer, Zebra Technologies. “We take pride in delivering quality in everything we do, including our employee experience.”
Zebra recognizes its duty to be a socially responsible employer and operationalizes its vision through inclusion and diversity initiatives, community relations, career development opportunities and more. More than 90% of employees who responded to the survey said they were made to feel welcome when joining the company, they feel good about the ways Zebra contributes to the community, and they are proud to tell others where they work.
"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, VP, global recognition, Great Place To Work. “It is evident that Zebra Technologies stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
