Linxens, expert in designing and manufacturing of electronic components, and PalmSens, specialist in instrumentation and software for electrochemistry, announce the signing of a non-exclusive distribution agreement.
This partnership aims to streamline the promotion and global sales of Linxens electrodes by PalmSens worldwide. The unique gold electrodes by Linxens are produced using electro-deposition which greatly reduces variations and are fully compatible with PalmSens potentiostats.
Key dimensions are 45x10 mm with a 4.5 mm working electrode on a 350 µm flexible substrate, which makes the electrodes very easy to handle. The new electrodes will be available in batches of 20 or 100 by Q1 in 2024.
For Linxens, this is a new opportunity to demonstrate its expertise in the manufacturing of components for the health and life science market.
“This is a new and important step for Linxens because for more than 10 years, Linxens has been deploying its expertise with medical players to provide high quality components, meeting the highest requirements related to the healthcare markets,” Yvan Malépart, SVP sales & marketing at Linxens, said. “This partnership with PalmSens allows us to continue our development in this segment by working with a reference player whose customers include major players in the health and science sectors.”
For PalmSens, this agreement is the guarantee to have the best possible electrodes in sufficient volumes to fulfil high-volume requests of its customers and partners.
“By signing this agreement with Linxens, we benefit from their large-scale production capabilities. Linxens provides our customers with high volumes of electrodes that have reproducible results for electrochemical applications,” said Willem van Velzen, CEO of PalmSens.
