Solicore, a global leader in embedded power solutions, has named David Eagleson as Vice President of Sales and Strategic Accounts. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and sales management in enterprise software and automatic identification-based solutions, Eagleson brings a deep understanding of driving revenue in emerging technology markets for continued market penetration of Solicore’s pioneering ultra-thin Flexion® batteries.
Eagleson is recognized as an expert in RFID, with extensive experience in supply chain management, as well as sales program and team development. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Sales for RFID Global Solution, an industry leader in the solution fulfillment space. Prior to RFID Global Solution, Eagleson was the Senior Director of Business Development for Symbol (now Motorola), focusing on partner and channel strategy in market development of enterprise RFID systems. As sales manager for Matrics, a pioneering RFID provider, he secured strategic sales contracts with early adopters including Target, Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson, as well as selling Wal-Mart its first RFID rollout. This deal contributed to Symbol acquiring Matrics for $238 million.
