Nanosolar introduced Christian Pho Duc, its new vice president of European sales and marketing, officially rounding out the company’s revamped executive management team.
Pho Duc joins a seasoned group of executives that have led up to $1 billion growth initiatives at globally renowned solar and high technology companies, including Rambus, AMD, Cisco, HP, ARM, Sun Microsystems, Siebel Systems, SunPower, PowerLight, Solyndra, National Semiconductor and BMW.
The new management team came together under the leadership of CEO Geoff Tate, who joined the company in March 2010 from Rambus, Inc. and AMD.
“This team was built to help Nanosolar become the lowest cost solar panel manufacturer while creating and sustaining a culture of high performance and innovation,” said Tate.

• Eugenia Corrales, EVP operations and engineering
• Michael Brassington, VP quality and supply chain
• Ravi Balaji, VP cell operations
• Mirco Boldt, VP panel operations

• Christian Pho Duc, VP European sales and marketing
• Brian Sager, VP corporate development
• Stephen Huh, VP financial planning and analysis
• Becky Baybrook, VP human resources
In addition to announcing the completed management team, Nanosolar also confirmed that it remains on track to expand its production capacity to 115 MW in 2011.
