At its March 28, 2012 annual meeting, the shareholders of Novaled AG, a leader in the research, development and commercialization of technologies and materials that enhance the performance of OLEDs and other organic electronics, elected Dr. Wolfgang Ziebart as chairman of Novaled’s Supervisory Board. Dr. Ziebart succeeds Thilo von Selchow, who had completed his term as chairman of the Supervisory Board.
In addition, Ernest E. Maddock was elected as a new member of Novaled’s Supervisory Board and appointed as head of the Supervisory Board’s Audit Committee. Dr. Jan Blochwitz-Nimoth, co-founder of Novaled, resigned from the Supervisory Board but will continue to serve as Novaled’s chief scientific officer. Dr. Ziebart and Maddock will hold their respective positions for terms of three years, effective March 28, 2012.
Dr. Ziebart was CEO of Infineon Technologies AG until 2008. Prior to this, he was on the Board of Directors of Continental AG and BMW AG. He currently serves on the Board of Autoliv Inc. and on the Supervisory Boards of ASML and of Nordex SE.
Maddock has been with Lam Research for 14 years, and is currently serving as Senior vice president and chief financial officer. He also serves as the company’s chief accounting officer. Maddock also heads and oversees information technology for Lam as well as Silfex, a division of Lam Research. From 2003 to 2008, he was senior vice president of global operations, and prior to, held the positions of vice president, customer support business broup and director of global sales finance at Lam Research. Prior to Lam Research, Maddock served in various financial and operational roles at NCR Corporation.
