PDC Healthcare announced that it has extended and combined its contracts with Managed Health Care Associates Inc. (MHA), a leading health care service company that offers a growing portfolio of services and solutions.
The new contract, effective through Sept. 30, 2016, will provide more than 11,000 MHA members with direct access to PDC Healthcare’s market-leading patient ID solutions including wristbands, labels, medical records supplies, and imaging supplies.
The new agreement will consolidate PDC Healthcare’s three previous contracts into one to provide more convenience for its customers. PDC Healthcare products are used throughout every major hospital function to help organizations streamline operations and improve clinical outcomes while maintaining compliance with important patient safety regulations. These include The Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Stage 2 Meaningful Use Requirements, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for patient identification.
“PDC Healthcare is delighted to continue our relationship with MHA by offering our patient ID products to MHA’s members at discounted rates,” said Tracey Carpentier, president of PDC Healthcare. “Our products help prevent medical errors and improve patient safety to enhance the overall patient experience.”
