Epec Engineered Technologies announced its further expansion of sales support and product solutions into the Canadian marketplace with industry veteran Tim Weir.
Weir has joined Epec in the position of regional sales manager for Canada, based in the Toronto area. He brings more than 20 years of valuable business development experience in the electronics field, including 12 years as a manufacturer’s representative involved with connectors, printed circuit boards and flexible circuit sales.
In addition, he was a senior sales executive with Avnet Electronics. responsible for a vast range of products; several of which are directly applicable to the product line at Epec. His career growth has allowed him to garner technical competence in a multitude of key product capacities.
“We are excited to have Tim on board,” John Stabers, vice president of sales at Epec, said. “His experience and expertise in the electronics industry is just what we need to broaden our sales coverage into Canada. Tim will also give our current Canadian customers an additional resource to help get their products to market faster.”
