PV Nano Cell’s Sicrys conductive inks were introduced to the US market in spring 2015. The inks are produced sustainably without toxic waste and allow solar cell manufacturers to cut costs by more than 15%. The inks are suitable for noncontact digital inkjet printing, allowing manufacturers to avoid the breakage associated with traditional screen printing and enabling the production of thinner cells.
The very narrow patterns enabled by digital inkjet printing result in improved cell efficiency and lower costs. In addition to silver inks, PV Nano Cell has also produced the world’s first commercially available stable copper nanometric inkjet conductive ink for solar cells.
