Canada Post has selected Zebra Technologies as the recipient of its E-commerce Innovator’s Award.
The Canada Post E-commerce Innovator’s Award goes to a company that has made a significant contribution to advancing e-commerce in Canada, as chosen by Canada Post, the country’s No. 1 parcel company. Deepak Chopra, Canada Post president and CEO, presented the award to Joe Heel, SVP, global sales for Zebra Technologies.
E-commerce is completely dependent on the type of specialized barcode technology Zebra provides to retailers, logistics operations and parcel companies, Chopra said, noting Zebra is used by 95% of Fortune 500 companies.
“Without it, e-commerce would not exist. Absolutely, we would not be able to deliver everything that we do without this technology,” Chopra told about 600 industry leaders gathered for the awards.
“It’s our pleasure to provide foundational technologies that enable e-commerce,” Heel said. “It’s an honor to serve an organization as innovative and forward-thinking as Canada Post,” Heel said.
