mantro GmbH and Osram will present their jointly developed product VISN for the analysis and optimized utilization of office space. Visitors to the Expo Real real estate trade fair can get to know the combination of intelligent hardware and software for efficient building management from Oct. 8-10 in Munich.
The VISN sensors and software were developed to make office building management more effective and up-to-date. VISN is fully compatible with Osram‘s recently launched Lightelligence platform and can, therefore, be fully integrated into other solutions on the platform.
VISN uses permanently installed room sensors to detect the occupancy of office space in real time. With the browser-based dashboard, employees can immediately recognize which rooms are available or occupied. All persons in the room remain completely anonymous. For facility management, it is also possible to evaluate the number of people present and the periods of use. With the help of this analysis, buildings can be occupied much more efficiently in the long term, which can contribute to savings in heating and cleaning costs, among other things.
Recently, CITUS, a property management company from Lithuania, was acquired as a pilot customer for VISN. A total of 250 square meters of the company’s managed areas have already been provided with VISN sensors.
“Participating in the VISN development process was a fantastic opportunity. It is a great system, easy to set up and visually appealing. It is really exciting to see how VISN implements innovations in the property industry with state-of-the-art technology,” said Rytas Stalnionis, head of communication at CITUS.
