OE-A is looking for new products, prototypes and designs related to flexible, organic, and printed electronics, to be showcased at LOPEC 2022.
“Smart ideas from young engineers, designers, and scientists are wanted. We have launched our yearly competition and are very excited to receive ingenious prototypes and products in the field of printed electronics,” said Dr. Klaus Hecker, managing director of OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), an international working group within VDMA.
“The goal of the OE-A Competition is to promote and showcase products and visions of future applications and supporting the continuous development of the international market for organic and printed electronics,” Hecker added.
Invited are all companies and institutes to participate in one or more of the three different categories. The submitted projects are judged by an international jury of representatives from well-known companies and institutes in three categories: "Prototypes & New Products"; "Freestyle Demonstrator"; and "Publicly Funded Project Demonstrator."
Taking part in the OE-A Competition creates visibility for the participants. All submitted products and demonstrators will be presented to the international community at LOPEC, the leading exhibition and conference for printed electronics. A special moment is when the winners receive their award during an official ceremony at the LOPEC dinner. LOPEC will take place from March 22-24, 2022 in Munich.
All LOPEC visitors also have the opportunity to cast their voice for their favorite project of the competition. Visitors are invited to make their choice for the "Public Choice Award."
