Universal Display announced its sponsorship and presentation at the International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT) 2023 (2023国际显示技术大会). Hosted by the Society for Information Display (SID), ICDT 2023 will be held March 31-April 3 at Nanjing International Exhibition Center, China.
“We are pleased to share our cutting-edge research work at the upcoming ICDT 2023 and to continue our sponsorship of this global display symposium and exhibition in China,” said Steven V. Abramson, president and CEO of Universal Display Corporation. “The proliferation of OLEDs continues to broaden in the consumer electronics landscape, from AR/VR and smartwatches, to smartphones, IT, automotive and TV applications. As a key enabler in the OLED ecosystem, UDC is continuing to invent and develop next-generation phosphorescent materials and technologies to enable higher energy efficiency and performance for our customers and for consumers around the world.”
This year’s ICDT Symposium will include presentations by Universal Display’s team discussing UDC’s energy-efficiency roadmap, including current and next-generation PHOLED technology and materials as well as Plasmonic PHOLED platform for the next frontier of energy efficiency and lifetime gains. In addition, senior representatives from UDC Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen subsidiaries will attend the conference in Nanjing.
Session 18: OLED Devices 2 (OLEDs), where Dr. Nicholas Thompson, associate director, PHOLED R&D, of Universal Display will virtually present his Invited Paper on “Efficiency, Stability, and Angular Dependence of Plasmonic PHOLEDs,” on April 2 at 3:20 PM CST.
Session 32: OLED Displays (OLEDs), where Dr. Mike Weaver, VP, PHOLED R&D, of Universal Display will virtually present his Invited Paper on “Future OLED Displays,” on April 3 at 8:30 AM CST.
